Do you leave your homework until the last minute? Would you refuse to do it, even if your parents said so? If this sounds like you, don’t stop reading and listen to these 3 reasons why you shouldn’t do that.
Firstly, if you do it on the first day it was given, you will have the rest of the weekend free to do family and friend bonding. But if you leave it, you will be rushing around late at night in a stress.
In addition, if you leave your homework until the last minute, you might forget and get yelled at by the teacher, because you’ve had more than enough time to complete it.
Finally, if you do it when you get it, you will be able to keep on track, instead of being up, day and night, rushing through various homeworks you’ve left until the last minute.
In conclusion, I think that we shouldn’t do homework in the final hours because you will get much more time with family and friends.
I tiptoed down the long, barren road and turned to enter the abandoned park. The rain hammered down on me and I got soaked. Suddenly, I heard something rustling in the bushes. The colour drained from my face. Immediately, I went over to have a little peek. And what I saw made me shriek in terror. There, standing in front of me, was an enormous brown bear, feasting on a banana. It approached me. I stood back in fear. To my surprise, the bear coughed and began speaking!
The Tractor Beam
It was October 1996, and the farmer Joanne was harvesting her corn. She had worked hard and long on it, and now she was finished. Suddenly, she heard a peculiar sound. ‘Zum, zum, zum’ it went. Everything suddenly went silent. Then, a huge spacecraft burst from behind the undergrowth. It slowly floated towards Joanne’s farm! Oh no! She had to think fast. Then she came up with a plan.
Without a second thought, Joanne sprinted into the house and grabbed a mirror. She used the mirror to shine the sun into the pilot’s face. Did her plan work? Of course it did. The pilot crashed through the window, splintering it into tiny little pieces. He crashed onto the ground and never got up. Meanwhile, the ship was still moving. It hadn’t gone to plan. All of a sudden, a large ray shot down on Joanne. She looked down, and saw she was no longer standing on the ground. When she reached the top of the beam, she disappeared into the floating ship as it drifted off into the sunset.
It was dawn at the petrol station and Jerry was filling his purple van up with diesel. Suddenly, a hedgehog jumped out of the nearby vending machine and lashed at the user. Then a swarm of hedgehogs came out the store, destroying everything in sight. One hedgehog gnarled on the unleaded hose. Out of nowhere, the hose began to puff up, and explode. The town was covered in fire, with wandering hedgehogs giving people rabies.
Back at the petrol station
Jerry jumped into his van and zoomed down the road with hedgehogs stalking his every move. Frantically, a hedgehog jumped through the window and bit at Jerry. He lost control and tipped his van over. Millions of sparks were launched from underneath it. Hastily, Jerry jumped out of the van. He was alive. Unfortunately, the van wasn’t. It had crashed into a wall and blown up, sending thousands of hedgehog prickles onto the road. A pack of cars dashed down the deadly road. The tyres made contact with the prickles, puncturing them one by one. Unluckily, one of the cars ploughed straight into Jerry, nearly ending his miserable life. Fortunately, after a week long stay in hospital, he was well enough to tell the tale.
What a day! We just found some pebbles in our pockets after a crazy adventure! First, me and Jez saw a light on the way home. Then, it streaked through the forest and began to flicker! We then followed the light, and with our hearts thumping, we watched.. and waited. Then after a day, I woke up and looked beside me. Jez was lying on the leaves next to me. We were okay. But all we could remember was that an enormous spaceship had landed and a figure moved. But it was only a few minutes ago that we found a jet-black, shiny pebble in each of our pockets. And we believe that it’s from another planet, and aliens are real.
It was late at night, and Tom, and his cousin Jez, were fishing by the lake. An unknown person told them that they need to “go home” so they did so. But on the way home, Tom and Jez heard a whirring sound overhead. Half a mile away, a flickering light was zooming through the forest. Tom and Jez looked at each other and simultaneously shouted at each other: “ALIENS!!”. Then Tom woke up. It was somehow daytime now. He looked to his side and saw Jez. Tom told him that “we should head home now.” When they were in their bedrooms, they put their hands in their pockets and they both f0und a rock. But it wasn’t a regular rock. When they rubbed it, it brightened up like the sun! But who gave it to them? Maybe someone from.. ANOTHER PLANET!
